A Tree City USA town, Hummelstown celebrates Arbor Day on April 27, 2024 with tree plantings, live music, balloon animals
for kids and great food at Schaffner Park.
The Shade Tree Commission and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will begin the celebration at 10:30 am. Two trees will be planted in honor of the late Firefighter Randy Lutz and our dedicated First Responders.
The public is encouraged to attend the brief ceremony and then enjoy provisions from local food trucks, music, balloon animals, and the chance to test your tree trivia knowledge to win a free seedling.
The Manada Conservancy will be on hand to share information about trees and other natural resources. Fun day for all!
