About the event
This inspiring event commemorates the heroic actions of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who on September 11, 2001, ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel in full gear to the World Trade Center, where he gave his life while saving others. Today, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues his legacy by supporting America's military heroes, first responders, Gold Star families, and catastrophically injured veterans through mortgage-free homes and other life-changing programs.
